Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Mrs. Lula High, 80, a native of the Bismarck community, died at her home, 612 W. Seminary, Danville, yesterday (March 21, 1967). The body is at the Lanham Funeral Home, Potomac, and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bismarck Methodist Church with the Rev. Theodore Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery. She was born Sept. 22, 1886 in Myersville and was married to John O. High, who died in 1944. She was a member of the Alvin Methodist Church and the Women of the Moose 216 at Danville. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jennie L. Miller of Danville and Mrs. Margaret Weaver of Hammond, Ind.; three sons, Frank of New Richmond, Ind., Lawrence of Bismarck, and Theodore of Lawrence, Kan.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  --typed by Walt W
